My Story
Maria specializes in serving as a bridge between cultural institutions, local agencies, community organizations, and the public in order to create spaces for people from diverse backgrounds to enrich their lives by critically engaging in exhibitions and programs.
Maria currently serves as the Outreach and Program Manager for the JFK Presidential Library and Museum and JFK Library Foundation. Prior to moving to the east coast, she worked on a wide range of programming and exhibition development projects throughout California. Her professional pursuits center around making cultural institutions responsive and organizing community resources to better serve historically marginalized communities.
