My Story

Nikki Shults brings over 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience focused on building community, alleviating isolation, and challenging stereotypes. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Everyday Boston, an organization dedicated to bridging social, racial, and economic divides through the sharing of life stories. Prior to this, Nikki was the Executive Director of LBFE Boston, where she led efforts to combat loneliness and isolation among older adults through intergenerational programming.

Her commitment to service and connection to the Kennedy family is deeply rooted in her Peace Corps experience, where she served from 2009 to 2013 in Ethiopia. As a Health Economic Development Advisor in the rural village of Masha and later as a Peace Corps Volunteer Leader in Addis Ababa, Nikki’s time abroad shaped her approach to community building and reinforced her belief in our collective responsibility to care for one another.

Her work continues to be driven by the call to service that first inspired her journey with the Peace Corps and a deep passion for helping individuals and communities overcome isolation and division.
