In July 2021 the Friends collaborated with John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site and several other partners to produce a July 2021 virtual program marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, JFK’s younger sister and founder of the Special Olympics.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver 100: A Legacy of Inclusion featured people from a wide spectrum of the disability advocacy space, especially centering on people with disabilities themselves.
